Privacy

MRC Media Library is a private library. This page explains what happens when you visit it.

This public page

It shows a few photographs and a sign-in button. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising, and loads nothing from other websites. Our server keeps a short technical log of requests (address, time, page) to keep the site secure; it is deleted after a few weeks.

The archive behind the sign-in

Only people approved by the library’s administrators can sign in. Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in; it holds no personal information. What you see and add inside the archive is kept for the library and is not shared with anyone else.

If you register to ask for access, what you write in the request (name, email, institution, country, profession and reason) is kept so that the administrators can answer it, and is not shared with anyone else.

Who looks after it

The archive is run by OneLegacy for the library. Its data is stored in the European Union. To ask about your data, or to have something corrected or removed, write to office@onelegacy.ie.
